“mesh is Canada’s Web 2.0 conference”. On May 15 - 16 Toronto will be holding what appears to be quite a large and high-profile web conference. Sounds like it’s going to be a highly informative and inspirational couple of days in a wonderful city.

SEOmoz.org just announced the results to their classification and ranking of over 700 “Web 2.0” sites. The final website count was narrowed down to about 300 stellar competitors.
Yesterday, the Toronto Hydro Co. announced plans to blanket the entire downtown core of Canada’s largest city with WiFi coverage. Basically what this means is that anyone within the coverage with an appropriate device (laptop, cell phone, etc.) can connect to this giant “hotspot” and surf the internet from wherever they may be.
